alumnitopper900pxThe strength behind Delta Tau Delta at Marietta College

Since the late 1960s, nearly 500 men now call themselves Marietta Delt Alumni.

We are the men who founded the Beta Delta Epsilon local fraternity. We are the men who were in the Crescent Colony of Delta Tau Delta at Marietta College. We are the men who became the first Marietta Delts in November of 1968.

We are the men who lived at 507 Putnam St. in the 1970s during the era of long hair, easy access to alcohol, even easier access to stuff we probably shouldn’t have access to, and really bad fashions.

We are the men who moved to 219 Fourth St. in the mid-1980s during the age of skinny ties, video tapes, big hair and MTV (when it played music videos).

We are the men who continued to live at 219 Fourth St. in the 1990s during the dawn of the Internet and affordable personal computers, the rise of cell phones and the prevalence of hip-hop.

We are the men who rebuilt the Chapter in the 2000s, in between posting on Facebook and sending each other texts.

We are the men who have recently graduated, still having one foot in the Undergraduate Chapter while moving on with our post-college lives.

We are the men who built this Chapter. We are the men who have almost let it slip through our hands (twice). We are the men who have taken this Chapter to the top of Delta Tau Delta many times.

And we have the awards, the composites and the memories to prove it.

We are the Marietta Delt Alumni.
